| history | <p>After completing the Yagna, everyday Sage Suprabhar used to get Lotus flowers from the pond adjacent to the temple. </p><p>The Lord wanted to know the place where the Sage was getting the flowers from and was waiting to meet him on his way back from the pond.</p><p>On seeing the Lord, the Sage asked the Lord for the reason for standing there! The Lord told him that He was pleased to be worshipped (as Lord Devar Piraan) by him with those beautiful Lotus flower and wanted him to worship Him along with Lord Devar Piraan.</p><p>So, the sage constructed another temple and installed the vigraham of Lord Aravinda Lochanar. He started worshipping the Lord at both the temples.</p><p>Lord Aravinda Lochanar is in a sitting posture .
